Rekindling Hackathon Culture, One Week at a Time

Hackathon culture is something that the AI Tinkerers Ottawa team and I have been trying to rekindle since the middle of last year.

Multiple hackathons. Hundreds of builders. I can safely say we've reignited that high intensity, collaborative spirit that powers Silicon Valley's technical culture.

And we wanted to triple down on this decision of rekindling the flames of ambition.

We will be having a hackathon every week in the AI Tinkerers Ottawa popup hacker house. The qualification process is simple but we are currently trying to automate and refine it.

Scaling this requires that we eliminate friction. We're automating our qualification process to increase throughput and streamline signup to minimal questions.
